About us

Bluegrass Bengals is a small to medium sized in-home cattery that is registered with TICA, CFA  and ACFA.  Our ultimate objective is to "better the breed," and we specialize in snows (lynx, mink, and sepia), both warm and cool browns, including rich sorrels and rufus (reds/copper), as well as brown and silver charcoal.  We are also one of the very few catteries in the United States actively working towards producing blues (dilute), chocolate, and lilac.  We strive to produce high-quality, well-socialized, and overall healthy Bengals to loving homes at reasonable prices!

 

Our kittens are raised in my home with my three children where they are socialized daily and are treated like members of the family.  They come up-to-date on vaccines, a genetic health guarantee, and I will be available to you to answer any questions you may have along the way as long as you own your bengal.

 

Pet prices will range from $750 to $1,800 for SBT (Stud book Traditional - F4 and later generations) depending on type, color, and pattern.  Breeder prices range from $1800 to $5000.  Early Generation (EG's - F1's through F3's will range from $1500 up for male pets, and $3,500 and up for female breeders.)  Send me an email if you would like to be placed on a waiting list.  Once a litter is born, a deposit of $250 (for pets) or $500 (for breeders) will hold your kitten until he or she is 10-12 weeks old and avaialable for pick-up.

 

At Bluegrass we also believe in providing the very best nutritional support, which is why we feed a species appropriate raw diet and grain free premium dry cat food.  We also supplement with NuVet, a human grade supplement which I have personally seen an improve the overall health and appearance after implementing this supplement in our cattery.  NuVet is not available in stores or directly to the general public, you can only purchase NuVet from a pet professional.
